I grew up in a country town in Western Australia in the 1950's with 4 siblings. It was a simple life with no electricity or running water so it required a lot of effort to get day to day things done. I loved the bush so it is not surprising that I like remote countries such as Peru which inspired me to write my first book. My passion is herbal medicine. I have a BA in Health Science (Complimentary Medicine) from Charles Sturt University in New South Wales, Australia, and an Advanced Diploma of Western Herbal Medicine from Athene College in Western Australia.
