Dr Mahdi Mason is an international author, speaker, earth healer and environmental consultant. In 2016, she released the influential, self-empowerment book, The Power of You: How to positively influence people, places and the world.
Her past experience as a sustainability manager, environmental scientist, shamanic practitioner, land healer and yogi, has afforded her in-depth understanding of both corporate environments and alternative healing practices. This has contributed to her unique ability to communicate openly and effectively with people from all walks of life.
With a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science (majoring in ecology), a Master's and Doctorate in Business Administration (environmental management), a Graduate Certificate in Animal Assisted Therapy and more than 12 years of environmental management experience, her expertise is further strengthened by her passion for animals and the natural environment. In addition to spending several years working in remote communities, Mahdi has worked and consulted with several leading organisations, including Anglo American and Disney Cruise Lines. She has also had the honor of being personally mentored by some of the world's leading Hay House authors and shamans.
Mahdi considers herself blessed to have travelled and worked throughout Australia, the USA, Mexico, Guatemala, Belize, Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Argentina, Switzerland, England, Ireland, Scotland, Spain, Italy, Bahamas, France, Germany, Nepal, Hong Kong, Thailand, Indonesia, Cook Islands, Solomon Islands, New Zealand, Vanuatu, Laos, Uganda, Tanzania, Fiji and Cambodia.
Pursuing her love of nature and challenging herself, she has completed two overnight 100km Oxfam nature walks, summited Mount Kilimanjaro and run the Gold Coast Marathon. Mahdi has also hiked the Annapurna Circuit in Nepal, the Inca Trail in Peru, the El Camino de Santiago in Spain and the Overland Track in Tasmania, Australia.
Mahdi lives in Brisbane, Australia and spends most of her time writing, practicing, and speaking about Earth healing.
