Janice McKay is a Clinical Psychologist living and working in Lake Macquarie in the Hunter Region of New South Wales, Australia. She gained experience working at local Community Health Services, with the Child and Family Health Team, Child Psychiatry Service and the Hunter Integrated Pain Service before becoming the initial psychologist at the Hunter Centre for Gynaecological Cancer and the Children's Cancer and Haematology Service at John Hunter Hospital and John Hunter Children's Hospital respectively.

Janice then moved into private practice working with a broad range of clients, both adults and children, while also offering professional supervision to her peers.

While Janice has written a number of books for her family, Villony Virus is her first published book. She is hoping to assist parents and grandparents in communicating about the pandemic with their children.
