Lauren Wilkinson-Barnes grew up in Sydney and presently lives in the beautiful Southern Highlands of NSW. She is a primary school teacher with a Diploma in Professional Counselling, and mother of four sons. Lauren is the author of three memoirs - Smashed To Pieces, Piece By Piece and No Defence. Her first two self-published books have sold in eight countries without promotion or marketing. Her latest book, No Defence, is the remarkable and inspirational story of abuse survivor, Kenny Mcilwain.
