Jacques Coosh

memoir, gay journey, mystery & crime

Born from Mauritian parents, Jacques grew up on the Indian Ocean Island. Jacques immigrated to Australia in the late 80s. There, he met his long-term partner, now husband. They have long happily settled in Melbourne.

After a distinguished career in the Australian public service, Jacques launched his writing career in 2015 with the publication of an autobiographical novel: 'A Journey of Pride'. In it, he retraced an eventful period of his life.

The acclaimed success of his debut novel challenged him to try out a new literary genre. The result is this well-written and absorbing murder mystery, which Jacques delivers with some brio.
