Phil is a chronic self-actualiser whose search for purpose and meaning in his life has taken him to far flung places in the world. He has been a teacher in Zimbabwe, run a home for street kids in Peru and managed development programs for Save the Children in Bangladesh. His experiences overseas have inspired travel articles, songs, second language readers, essays, a memoir and a play. They have also inspired a business.  Phil is the co-founder of Cultural Connexions, a business committed to providing training and coaching programs for youth and corporate clients based on principles of emotional intelligence, cultural intelligence and mindfulness. He lives in the Blue Mountains west of Sydney with his wife, daughter and two Dobermans.
