Lenny Duff

Indie Folk

Lenny Duff grew up in Dublin's North inner city and fell in love with Irish music from an early age. Lenny played in several bands covering Irish trad, folk, bluegrass, and medium rock.

In the mid 1980s, Lenny emigrated to New York with his newlywed wife Ann. After a couple of years they decided to try their luck "Down Under" and have been living in Australia ever since.

Lenny toured the festival circuit with his Celtic rock band The Emigrants, it was a great time to be playing music in Australia and there was a lot of fun to be had. Nowadays Lenny playes with Legend guitar player Garry Seach.

In 2019 Lenny released One Step Down, a tribute to the 16 men who lost their lives during the constructon of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Lenny is so proud to have written this song and would like to share it with everyone.

Lenny still works on the Bridge as a Blaster Painter, and absolutely loves his job.
