David Anderson is a retired railwayman whose hobbies are bush walking, singing in a rock band and acting. Writing stories for years and placing them in a cupboard came to an end when he submitted work to Narrator Australia and some stories and poems were published. This inspired David to write with a passion. One of David's major ambitions was to rework his vast range of stories and create one or more e -books. This is the result. He hopes you enjoy them.
These four stories, The Bookshop of Illusion, The Return of the Probe, The Audition and The Beginning of the End are from David Anderson's two books of short stories: The Other Side and The Pareidolia Effect. Ranging from sci-fi, fantasy, to human interest and tales of human torment, they tread paths that may veer in an unplanned direction.
The Pareidolia Effect follows the premise of The Other Side. Again, encounters with forces of the unpredictable may lead people into situations of fantasy, revenge, murder and human anguish. Are you ready to roll the dice and enter these encounters? David hopes you enjoy these tales, and warns you to beware of an unforeseen brush with the unexpected.
The Other Side takes readers on pathways that may traverse unexpected turns. Journey into tales out of time, fantasy, or human conflict, where people make acquaintance with their worst nightmares, or escape a world of unreality, not sure of its meaning or purpose. David hopes you enjoy these stories, and warns you to beware of the unexpected.
