ALLY Mosher was told she was crazy after ignoring a $20,000 university scholarship but two years later she maintains she made the right choice.
Ms Mosher, 20, of Hazelbrook, recently brought out her first book titled High School Survival Guide: A Handbook For The Modern Teenage Girl.
But the 2009 Springwood High School captain said it was a tough decision to make.
"I had a $20,000 academic scholarship offered to me by UWS and I was quite excited about going," she said.
"But the more I thought about it the more I saw these two paths ahead of me and took up the chance to do a Diploma of Creative Arts and get this book published.
